Each month a quilt will be displayed by one of the members of Blount County Quilters’ Guild. We are honored to participate and show our love of quilting.
The colors of this quilt just pop out and you can’t help but smile. So beautiful. It is also timely. The Blount County Quilter Guild’s Quilt-of-the-Month for July is now on display at the museum, and it could not be more appropriate given the Fourth of July is this week. Katheren Lindsay pieced and quilted this patriotic and colorful work. Among the red, white, and blue captivating stars, one can find the names of all 50 states. Come by and see if you can locate Alabama!
